PLEDGE OF ALLEGIANCE DEBATE & DR. MICHAEL NEWDOW & PLEDGE OF ALLEGIANCE LITIGATION
Michael Newdow's Pledge of Allegiance litigation helped the historian Dr. Rex Curry expose National Socialism in the USA.

Pledge of Allegiance to the flag The USA's Pledge of Allegiance (& the military salute) was the origin of Adolf Hitler's "Nazi" salute under the National Socialist German Workers Party (Nazis). http://rexcurry.net/pledge2.html

The swastika was used by the military and by socialists in the USA and in the USSR, before it was used by the National Socialist German Workers Party (NSDAP).
http://rexcurry.net/45th-infantry-division-swastika-sooner-soldiers.html
The swastika, although an ancient symbol, was also used to represent "S" letters joined for "socialism" under the National Socialist German Workers Party (Nazis), similar to the alphabetical symbolism for the SS Division, the SA, the NSV, and the VW logo (the letters "V" and "W" joined for "Volkswagen"). http://rexcurry.net/bookchapter4a1a2a1.html
Francis Bellamy & Edward Bellamy touted National Socialism and the police state in the USA decades before their dogma was exported to Germany. They influenced the NSDAP, its dogma, symbols and rituals. http://rexcurry.net/police-state.html and http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BssWWZ3XEe4
The stiff-arm salute was NOT an ancient Roman salute. The ancient Roman salute myth came from the USA's Pledge of Allegiance.

PLEDGE OF ALLEGIANCE LITIGATION GROWS!

The Pledge of Allegiance court case was a blessing in disguise, by providing a temporary delay.   It allows the fight to widen against the entire Pledge, not just two words.

The decision from the Ninth Circuit Court of Appeal is at
http://www.ca9.uscourts.gov/datastore/opinions/2010/03/11/05-17257.pdf

The decision mentions Dr. Rex Curry twice.

As a libertarian and a lawyer, Dr. Curry is spearheading the next fight as a pro bono service to the public to liberate Americans from government pushing the totalitarian Pledge.  http://rexcurry.net/pledge1.html

“Pledge II” will be a blockbuster sequel.  Newdow's cases led to independent discoveries about the Pledge’s frightening pedigree by Dr. Curry: the historic news-breaking discovery that exposed the Pledge as the origin of the salute of the monstrous National Socialist German Workers’ Party (Nazis).  It is a myth that the Pledge’s original straight-arm salute is an ancient Roman salute.  http://rexcurry.net/pledgesalute.html

The Pledge was written in 1892 by Francis Bellamy, a self-proclaimed National Socialist in the U.S., who wanted a government takeover of education to produce an "industrial army" for the authoritarian vision portrayed in his cousin Edward Bellamy's book "Looking Backward."  The Bellamy cousins promoted national socialism worldwide for decades.  Their acts resulted in racist and segregated government schools that lasted into the 1960's.

The pledge is a great issue for advocates of freedom.  Americans can change the entire "pledge issue" from a limited debate about two words, to a liberating debate about government, totalitarianism and government schools.   http://rexcurry.net/pledge1.html

Along with spearheading “Pledge II,” Dr. Curry filed another amicus curiae brief in a case that is already exposing the entire Pledge of Allegiance, a case that is more important than the earlier Newdow case, though it is virtually unknown: U.S. v. Wonschik, case #03-10249 at the U.S. Supreme Court. http://rexcurry.net/pledge4.html

Wonschik argues that judges should not lead jurors in reciting the Pledge because jurors feel forced to recite the Pledge, and that criminal defendants are denied a fair trial due to the appearance that Judges favor the prosecution. http://rexcurry.net/pledgelaws.html     Dr. Curry did so while he was a member of the National Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers, and NACDL had already filed an amicus curiae brief in support of Wonschik.

People ask if the Pledge of Allegiance promotes authoritarianism. Yes it does, not only paying homage to a man who wanted the Pledge used to promote government schools and authoritarianism, who wanted government schools operated as a socialist monopoly, and to end all of the better alternatives, and who wanted government schools used to create an "industrial army" (a Bellamy phrase) modeled after the military, for a socialist economy and society.

Everyone knows that the Bellamy cousins succeeded in many ways, in that most schools are government schools, where the socialist’s pledge is still robotically chanted, and where children and their parents have learned to accept the government school monopoly, social security, socialist slave numbers, etc.

The pledge is usually recited because it is required by state laws for government schools, and done collectively as a robotic chant daily on cue from the government.

The pledge's history is suppressed because it is so un-libertarian. As strange as it may seem, the ideas that inspired the pledge's author also resulted in mass atrocities worldwide. http://rexcurry.net/pledgebackward.html

It is hard to imagine a better issue begging for the correct arguments to be made. Please help make the Pledge of Allegiance debate into a meaningful debate about liberty.

Support individualism, not authoritarianism.  If the government’s antidisestablishmentarianism does not end, then we will be living in an even bigger police state.  Pledge your independence, and don’t declare your allegiance.

Tom Brokaw, anchor and managing editor of the top-rated "NBC Nightly News," and Rex Curry, lawyer and libertarian commentator, were the first and only journalists honored for exposing the "National Socialist German Workers' Party" to the public in Google News' search engine on D-Day of 2004. On that date, June 6, 2004, and for 30 days or more thereafter Google News showed only Brokaw's and Curry's use of the full phrase in Google News archives. Nazi salutes are more accurately identified as American salutes (used in the early Pledge of Allegiance three decades before it was adopted by the monstrous National Socialist German Workers Party). It was created and promoted by National Socialists in the USA (e.g. Francis Bellamy & Edward Bellamy). The Bellamys and their cohorts influenced the dogma, symbols and rituals of German National Socialists. http://rexcurry.net/pledge5.html

Today, Americans are persecuted for performing the early American salute. They are also persecuted for refusing to perform the current version of the Pledge salute.

They are persecuted in ways that are similar to how Germans are persecuted for the swastika or the "Nazi" salute (it is so bad/absurd that German prosecutors launched an enquiry into whether a garden gnome with its right arm raised in a "Hitler" salute in a Nuremberg art gallery is against the law).

Americans who perform the early American salute are persecuted in ways that are similar to how Americans are persecuted for refusing to perform the current American salute and the Pledge of Allegiance (especially children persecuted in government schools / socialist schools). http://rexcurry.net/pledge-allegiance-pledge-allegiance.jpg

Here is a video of someone being persecuted for the early American salute. http://video.google.com/videoplay?docid=-2487274467636094262

The incident resulted in litigation that went to the Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals. http://www.ca9.uscourts.gov/media/view_subpage.php?pk_id=0000003646

The blogger Becky Johnson discusses it at http://beckyjohnsononewomantalking.blogspot.com/2009/07/9th-circuit-court-hears-arguments-on.html

That blog utilized the tags David Beauvais, Kate Wells, Scott Kennedy, Tim Fitzmaurice, Robert Norse, Nazi Salute.

It would be funny if the fellow who performed the gesture argued that to the Court (that he is being persecuted for the early American salute), however he is probably ignorant of it. However, the 9th Circuit is not ignorant of it because they have a brief by the Attorney and historian Dr. Rex Curry (author of "Pledge of Allegiance Secrets") in the case of Michael Newdow v. Carey that is currently before the 9th, and that brief is visible online. That brief explains the early American salute.

Also, the US Supreme Court is aware of it due to an Amicus Brief filed by the same attorney. http://rexcurry.net/pledgewonschik.html

Some Supreme Court Justices are old enough to have performed the early American stiff-arm salute while attending government schools that imposed segregation by law and taught racism as official policy. http://rexcurry.net/pledgewonschikrecusal.html

If Supreme Court justices were in the Boy Scouts or Girl Scouts then they might have spent time traveling the globe, waiving flags, chanting robotically, performing America's Nazi salute and wearing and spreading the swastika symbol. All decades before the Nazis adopted the same behavior.
http://rexcurry.net/pledge-of-allegiance-scouting.html

It was part of the dogma of Edward Bellamy, the author who wrote the notorious novel "Looking Backward," first published in 1888. It was because of the dogma Edward Bellamy and Francis Bellamy that Bellamy Clubs spread and many utopian/dystopian communities started, including that under the Union of Soviet Socialist Republics (~60 million slaughtered), the National Socialist German Workers Party (~20 million), and the Peoples' Repubic of China (~50 million). These national activities were dedicated to the spreading of ideas using socialism, Marxism and Christianity together.

Also he performed it wrong anyway, with his left arm.

Edward Bellamy and Francis Bellamy hated the U.S. Constitution's limits on government (and socialism). Edward Bellamy compared the written U.S. Constitution and the unwritten English one: "England's Constitution readily admits of constant though gradual modification. Our American Constitution does not readily admit of such change. England can thus move into Socialism almost imperceptibly. Our Constitution being largely individualistic must be changed to admit of Socialism, and each change necessitates a political crisis" (quoted in Rose L. Martin, Fabian Freeway, p. 136).

The Bellamys wanted government to take over all schools in order to impose socialism upon children and upon the entire country. Francis Bellamy contacted the National Education Association (NEA), which was then headed by William Torrey Harris. Harris envied the Prussian educational system and opposed non-government education. Harris' views were shared by Bellamy's Nationalist Clubs.

John Taylor Gatto, an outspoken critic of government education, notes that Harris was one of the main proponents of using government schooling to indoctrinate and not educate. Gatto, in a speech on education, "Confederacy of Dunces: The Tyranny of Compulsory Education," quotes Harris: "Ninety-nine [students] out of a hundred are automata, careful to walk in prescribed paths, careful to follow the prescribed custom." Gatto continues: "This is not an accident, Harris explains, but the 'result of substantial education, which, scientifically defined, is the subsumption of the individual.'"
